2018 Registration Form
The Holiday Festival of Lights parade is a fantastic opportunity for you, your business, or your non-profit to get exposure in the community and to help spread holiday cheer in Yankton! Prizes will be given out to floats - categories are yet to be determined. Fill out this registration form then begin to deck the heck out of your float!
Each entry should offer something unique and exciting to this year's theme. The Holiday Festival of Lights parade begins at 6:00pm on Thursday, November 29th. Please consider the following guidelines when working on your entry.
All children walking in the parade or riding on a float should have an adult chaperone.
Dress accordingly. It may be cold! The event will go on, even if it snows!
Lights are required - they are the most important part of this event. The more the merrier, the brighter the better!
If you plan to have a banner please make sure that is lighted too!
Music is also strong encouraged - live or recorded - but kept at appropriate levels.
Entrants are expected to keep the route clean.

NO SANTAS!!! Santa Claus will be escorted through the parade by the Yankton Fire Department and brought to the tree lighting ceremony following the parade.
